Congratulations to ACG Strathallan student Harrison Chau who gained a High Achievement in AS Art & Design: Photography following the November 2018 Cambridge exams.
‘High Achievement’ is awarded to learners who have achieved outstanding results in subjects which are less widely taken. It equates to the highest standard mark in New Zealand.
Harrison’s exam work was based on the topic ‘display’ and portrays someone trapped in a glass being looked at without their permission.
Photography teacher Jo Palmer said Harrison was a dedicated and talented student who hadn’t used a camera to create art before last year.
“His photography also included elements of paint and mixed media which really added to the overall feel of the work,” she said.
