Relay for Life

Raising over $9000, the Strathallan Student Leadership team and teachers participated in the Relay for Life last weekend, in support of the Cancer Society.

They walked a total of 572 laps over 18 hours with students and staff walking all throughout the night! But the hard work definitely paid off for the funds they raised are going to help fund cancer research and patients struggling with the disease.

Some of the activities during the night included Zumba, Tug of War, Ripper Rugby, Scrabble, Mr Relay and Wearable Arts. Highlights were Nathan dressing as ‘The Merqueen’, Flynn entering Mr Relay as ‘Snow White’ and of course the Council team coming first overall in the Ripper Rugby Competition!

Overall we all had a fantastic time and made a truly tremendous effort towards the cause.
