ACG Strathallan’s College students have achieved some of the school’s best ever A-Level results, despite a year filled with challenges and Covid-19 lockdowns.
In the recent Cambridge International Examinations, Year 12 and 13 students continued to excel, undeterred by the transitions between physical campus and online learning – and flourishing under the guidance and support of ACG Strathallan’s teaching team.
In consequence, the school is now celebrating a year of remarkable academic accomplishment.
AS-Level success (the initial stage of senior student study)
- 91% pass rate
- 28% of papers received A grades (80% or better)
A-Level success (final stage of senior student study)
- 100% pass rate
- 33% of papers received A* or A grades (80% or better)
These outcomes illustrate exceptional performances across all subject areas, with students attaining spectacular A-Level pass rates for the sixth consecutive year.
The number of A grades awarded was also particularly pleasing, with an extraordinary 11% increase in 2019’s AS-Level results and a notable 8% improvement at A-Level.
“The A-Level scores achieved this year are outstanding, and among the best results the school has ever received,” says ACG Strathallan Principal, Danny O’Connor. “They are especially impressive given the significant challenges faced by our students and staff in 2020.
“I am incredibly proud of our students’ success and would like to thank our teachers and faculty for going above and beyond to support all of our young learners last year.”
