Creating life long learners

At ACG Strathallan we take pride in our rigorous academic standards and in enabling our students to reach their academic potential. As a result of our student learning support programme, ACG Strathallan is south Auckland’s top academic school.

Our curriculum, Cambridge International, is highly regarded by universities worldwide. Our students consistently receive outstanding pass rates in their courses; and a number achieve Top in the World and Top in New Zealand awards. Our students go on to study at the best universities in New Zealand and around the world.

Pass rates

  • A Level: 100%
  • AS Level: 91%
  • IGCSE: 91%

Subject successes

The AS Level pass rates were particularly pleasing, with an impressive increase of 4% on last year’s results. And at IGCSE Level, 37% of papers received an A* or A grade (80% or better) which will solidify the school’s academic reputation over the coming years.

Individual performances

ACG Strathallan received a total of four Cambridge Awards including:

  • 1 Top in New Zealand
  • 3 High Achievement (Top in New Zealand for a smaller subject)

Amelie Davidson placed Top in New Zealand in IGCSE Spanish, while three other students received High Achievement in their respective AS Level subjects: Lydia Ainsworth, Drama; Serena Jivan, Information Technology; Erin O’Mara, Sociology.
