Creating life long learners

At ACG Strathallan we take pride in our rigorous academic standards and in enabling our students to reach their academic potential. As a result of our student learning support programme, ACG Strathallan is south Auckland’s top academic school.

Our curriculum, Cambridge International, is highly regarded by universities worldwide. Our students consistently receive outstanding pass rates in their courses; and a number achieve Top in the World and Top in New Zealand awards. Our students go on to study at the best universities in New Zealand and around the world.

  • A Level: 99.6%
  • AS Level: 86.9%
  • IGCSE: 90%

Subject successes

In A Level Chinese, 46% of students achieved A* (90% and above) and 23% achieved an A (80-90%), with all students achieving 60% and above.

In AS History, 29% achieved A (80% and above), almost double the most recent worldwide average of 15.1% (June 2018.) In addition, 43% achieved a B (70-80%). All students achieved 60% and above.

Individual performances

  • Harrison Chau: High Achievement Art & Design: Photography, AS Level
  • Serena Jou: Four A*s in A Level Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, including a top mark of 96% in A Level Mathematics, plus an A in AS English Literature. Serena was in Year 12 last year.
  • Dong-Hyun Lee: Four As in AS Level History, English Literature, Geography and Economics.
  • Liam Nelson: Four As in AS Level English Language, Biology, Physics and Mathematics and a B in History.
  • Jeonghyeok Park: A* in A Level Chemistry, and three As in A Level Further Mathematics, Physics and Mathematics.
  • Chenxin Tian: A in A Level Chinese, and three As in AS Level Physics, Accounting and Mathematics.
